Last month, Facebook released its new Timeline layout for user profile pages. It’s so cool and easy to find our old statuses, likes uploaded images, etc. We can use our new Facebook profile page as a portfolio or website to present to a client, the various development activities. A few days ago, an Italian Web designer Giuliano Ambrosio, author of blog JuliusDesign, created a WordPress theme inspired by Facebook's timeline. The theme was developed in about 10 hours on weekends, using as a starting point the standard theme Twenty Eleven of WordPress 1.2. Actually I like this theme, so I decided to share this theme with my readers.

Among the most interesting features integrated into this theme, we can find the top right of the timeline by months of publishing articles. The timeline by months is used to scroll the page to the first article in that month, in case of failure on the home page, the user is routed to the archive page. Options are available in the admin section, for customizing your logo, featured category, and social media icons. Images are viewed with a lightbox effect.
You can also add 4 items into the upper right header and it’s always present on every page. Items will be highlighted through a predetermined category, which included the image that will be featured-image set as a back-office. The theme was also integrated into the graphical arrows that go to anchor the line in the timeline. A second article will show the position of the arrows that indicate membership in the flow of information.
